We love our dogs.   We want to do what is best for them and need them to be an accepted member of the family as well as society.    It requires taking care of every facet of their lives, including good behavior, nutrition, health and wellbeing.  We all lead busy lives, so having someone to guide you can make it much easier. 

In addition to helping with basic obedience training, I teach you how to better understand your dog and your relationship with your dog.  Each dog is unique and there is no “one size fits all” training method. Our dogs are our emotional mirrors and many times, making a change to our behavior will “fix” your dog’s behavior.  Having a balanced dog will lead to a happy and rewarding relationship.  I will also give you the information you need to make good choices for food, vet care and exercise appropriate for your dog and your lifestyle.

My goal is to enable you to enjoy your dog, have him be well mannered in your home as well as out in public. This allows dogs to remain with their owners and not be surrendered to shelters due to behavior issues that could have been avoided or corrected with some training.  It is never too late to improve your dog’s behavior.  You can teach an old dog new tricks. 

I offer in home dog training and counseling.  This can be done at your home or mine, or in public places as necessary.  I will travel to your home in Mesquite.  You are also welcome to travel to me.
