My philosophy for training is ignore the bad behavior and reward the good. Lots of praise, rewards and encouragement. Most bad behaviors are due to poor communication on our part or symptoms of something else. I work with owners extensively to coach on better communication. We discuss many aspects of your dog's life to find the underlying issue to the behavior problem and work on a solution. Building a good relationship is the key. So we work on better understanding of what makes your dog tick and giving as well as gaining respect. Every dog and owner is unique, so we come up with a program customized just for you.
I prefer to come to your home where I can observe your dog in his environment.
We can also work at my home or other public places, depending on what we specifically need to address or what works best for the situation.
As of June, 2024, I began offering group classes through BARK Canine Club and Resort, to be able to work in a small group environment adding the challenge of other dogs and people to your dog's training.
